Lori’s academic background includes an AA in Liberal Arts, a BS in Public Relations, an AS in Physical Therapist Assistant, a National Athletic Trainers’ Association Certification in Athletic Training, a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certification in Strength and Conditioning and Personal Training, and a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500. She is licensed in Florida as a physical therapist assistant.
Lori enjoys yoga for the mind and body connection, as well as weight training and biking for health and fitness. She lives in Gainesville, FL with her 2 rescue cats. She is the author of Strength Training for Women (2005), published by Human Kinetics.
Lori has been involved in sports medicine and rehabilitation for over twenty-five years. She is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 from Urban Bliss School of Yoga and is Hatha Ashtanga trained. Her unique knowledge of the body combined with a strong sequencing talent, result in an anatomically correct and powerful flow. Her love of theatre and soothing voice provide an exceptional guided meditation experience. She is a born teacher and her methods are direct and easy to understand.
